Who should have access to the tattoo artist only forum?

Well, thanks!
I am certainly not ashamed of my accomplishments and my experiences (good or bad) and would love to share them with those who are worthy. I am not an egotist, but I do feel i have a lot to share. So if a forum was worthy of that info, I would definately be open to spilling my guts to the right people. I am not interested in sharing anything with neophites, though. You and Stacy and Dragon Guy are the ones who I choose to make that decision...so make it.

To be honest, as honored as I am, I'm still an apprentice and, to me, picking and choosing who's legit versus the typical slew of slacker ass scratchers seems like it may, in fact, be a bigger job than i can handle. Like i said, i'm honored that my name came up, but I think that Stacy and Dragon Guy, along with Wolf, are the most fit to take on the task. Like I said, i'm honored, but I honestly think that others with more experience than I deserve the position a bit more.
CxCx did...and I have more respect for him than I do a million others I have encountered. He is dead set on learning in the proper manner, and Stacy, Dragon guy and myself are already there...by whatever means. CxCx Understands the importance, the historic value, the reasoning behind doing things RIGHT. Therefore, I submit my vote to him, ask that he vote on my behalf, and if he votes me in
(along with the others), I will gladly participate. If not, I am not worthy.

Can I throw my name into the voting? I'm still an apprentice, but I do have my license....

One possible way the section can work....
A user must post their credentials in the "Validate me" forum, any scanned tattoos of work, studio information, etc can be posted to the artist's profile. As far as pictures of a license, yellowpage listing, autoclave, etc... this information can be emailed in for 2 reasons: to protect privacy, and to protect abuse (people copying the pictures and modifying them).
Questions:
1)Should current artists in the system be able to vouch for other artists if they know them?
2)Should it be a voting system, or once all proof is given they are allowed in... or a question/answer session with current members?
3)Phone verification: should a studio # be provided to make sure the actual artist does work in a "real studio" #'s can be verified via online yellowpages etc
4)How do we deal with overseas artists who may have different techniques

[quote="Inkitup"]So, now that I got all this started, what do I have to do to become a member of that section, I see it is now open! What do I do?

I don't know mate, but I don't think the photos of you tattooing in somebodies bedroom, with no barrier on the power chord, on your myspace profile is going to help.
But I could be wrong.
